Hello! My name is Dimitri Ilkov
I am a photographer from Ukraine.
Came with my family to Canada in June 2022. I have been taking photography as an amateur since 2012, and as a professional since 2017.
As a kid, I was always inspired by the photography and beauty of creating something visually exciting, and knew I had a look at it that others just don’t see at times.I specialize in portrait photography,
I implement my ideas, and also professionally perform commercial photography. I deal with photography professionally, and by signing a contract with me, you sign a contract with a legally operating company.
For years, I have been photographing people and their stories, in my photos I show real people, I like to talk during sessions — it helps people to relax.
In just a few minutes you will forget that you are in my photo shoot, and you will enjoy what is happening and in the end you will be satisfied with the beautiful photos.

My self-portraits are not only a manifestation of my creative view of myself, but also of the world around me. I try to convey emotions and thoughts related to art and life. Each photo is a separate story that can be interpreted in different ways. Many of my works forced me to overcome myself, my fear, fear of the public and condemnation, because my works can be interpreted in different ways. Some of my works are just entertaining, and some with a very deep meaning. My self-portraits are not just photographs, they are works of art that allow me to express my thoughts and feelings. I use a conceptual style to evoke reflections in the viewer and convey a deep meaning.
